To unlock the full 30bhp+ potential of the Mito Evo engine, you must remove the factory-fitted bottlenecks. IMPORTANT: You must perform all three steps below at the same time. If you derestrict the air and exhaust without re-jetting the carb, the engine will run lean and likely seize within minutes. The 3 Stages of Mito Derestriction 1. The Exhaust Expansion Chamber The standard exhaust has a "plenum chamber" (a small blind pipe) welded near the manifold. This disrupts the exhaust pulses and kills power.
